About the Artist

When my husband and I retired, we divided our time between California and Idaho for a bunch of years.  Hence the pictures from both places.  Although I always dabbled in all kinds of arts and crafts, I didn’t start painting on a regular basis until after I retired from being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and teacher.  I am a mostly self-taught artist who has gotten lots of help from my friends and from various classes --- especially Evie Ingram’s weekly painting class and the pastel workshop I attended given by Liz Hayward-Sullivan.  Pastel is my medium of choice.  I love the bright colors and finger painting is just too much fun.

I have a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling and Minors in Art and Math.
Member of the California Central Coast Pastel Society and the Paso Robles Art Association.
